Burnley lighting up the Premier League!

Burnley begun their Premier league campaign with an unprecedented win at Stamford Bridge, and are yet to slow down as we approach the festive football feast! The Clarets currently sit in 4th place in the Premier League after their late win against Stoke on Tuesday night, an unprecedented position for a team with only £36m spent in the summer, the 4th least amount in the league. -

The team’s defensive solidarity and teamwork can be accounted to their magnificent form, with Nick Pope covering for the injured Tom Heaton, the claret army was justifiably worried about the young man signed from Charlton, but he has been a revelation and his heroics have gained Burnley so many valuable points. -

The talisman from last season from last season, Andre Gray, leaving in the summer meant that dynamic gaffer Sean Dyche had to ponder his options at centre forward, however the contributions of new signee Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes and Sam Vokes have given the Lancashire side different attacking dimensions.  -

There’s one question we need to ask, how far can Burnley glow? Their active streak of scraping results is lighting up the Premier League, and we operate in this great Lancashire town. Come and play UV football with us at Blessed Trinity RC College and light up the pitch!
